An incredibly gifted writer who got his start in the pulp era and who moved into the short story magazine market where he proved to be very successful. In addition to his hundreds of mystery tales for Ellery Queen Magazine and Mike Shayne Magazine, he penned a series of private investigator novels during the 50s and 60s.
