Both Jeff Curtiss and Ernie Black are in Africa trying to trace the steps of a man named Forrester who had disappeared on a trek for his employer, the Diamond Corporation. On a previous trip he had found signs of a possibly rich area but on his second trip to narrow the location, he vanished.
