According to Lambiek Comiclopedia: "Vic Martin (Victor Martin) was an Argentinian cartoonist, who drew the strip ' Salvador' for magazine Medio Litro, before moving to the USA in the early 1950s. Martin began his career in US comic books by doing fillers and back-ups for Ziff-Davis Comics, including gag pages like 'G.I. Fun', 'Private Dopey' and 'Army Fun' in G.I. Joe. Other credits include 'Earl, Rich Rabbit', 'Shorty Pampas', and other fillers for St. John Publishing and Hillman Periodicals.

In the 1960s, he was present in 'Sick' by Feature Comics and in the following decade, he contributed to Marvel's Crazy. In 1973-74, he worked on the 'Little Orphan Annie' daily and Sunday page for the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate, when Elliot Caplin was scriptwriter and Tex Blaisdell main artist. Martin was also a regular contributor to Major Magazines' magazine Cracked in the 1970s."
