Season Of The Camel

Published in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, 10/2000.
After some reluctance, Jeffrey and Leila Rand accept computer chip designer and rug trader Omar Goncah to head to Turkey to attend camel fights. On the drive from Istanbul, they encounter a police blockade due to a car bombing which killed a diplomat. Rand decides he has to investigate on his own.
