Melbourne, a British agent, is to meet Saffron, a top Russian agent wanting to defect, in Piccadilly Circus. Before the meeting, Melbourne is hit by a bus and suffers amnesia. His colleagues, Rand and Hastings, try to decipher Melbourne's signal to Saffron using cryptic letters.
