In 1962 a project called Starfish Prime was created to develop an EMP weapon to destroy an enemy nation's communication system. There was a second objective to the project that was far more classified. In modern times, on a cruise ship off the coast of Antarctica, a woman awakens to find she is the only one left on the ship despite it be in fine working condition. When Sam Reilly gets involved in the latter mystery, he will also get involved in the Cassidy Project which dredges up the former.
