A man identifying himself as an old friend and work mate of Mallory Blackwell's father shows up to say that her father, who passed away years before, had actually been murdered. Oddly, her mother has never heard of the man. Now Mallory and her husband Alton are leading an NSA team to track down a toxicological threat that is part of the supposed murder.
