Nearly two decades ago, Captain John Milton was serving in Iraq when he made a rash decision and things went bad. It was a Major Gordon who suffered the most from it. Now Milton is looking into the disappearance of a human rights activist and the trail takes him to the islands off Western Scotland and a chance to make amends with the Major.
