As can be seen by looking at the Series List, there are two entries for Strike Back and both of them start with the first book shown below. It is the start of the book series and the genesis of the television series with the same name.
The two series are separate in this compendium, though, because after the first book, the two series diverge sharply.
In the television series, the main character, John Porter, is killed in action but his place on the team he works with at MI6 continue having adventures, and thus the series continues.
In the book series, John Porter is still very much alive and having several more highly interesting escapades, detailed below.
