The year we first encounter this enterprising and interesting young man is 1912. Those in the know are aware that tensions on the Continent are tense with considerable saber rattling and national juxtapositioning taking place. Templeman would not be considered one of those so concerned as he has his mind attuned to his new job as a solicitor in training. The law is his area of focus though that will change drastically due to an impromptu trip to the lowlands of Scotland and the horrific events which will take place there.

Should be simple. It isn't.
