Ike Schwartz is a county sheriff.
The town which comprises the majority of the population of this district is Picketsville, Virginia, and Schwartz, who has been all over the world doing a lot of things he would rather forget, hails from that community and when he needed a place to get away from all those things, that is where he chose to return. Since a man cannot just live doing nothing and because there was a need for a new sheriff, that is what he chose.
We are told in a blurb which does a pretty good job of introducing him to us, ""Ike Schwartz thought he could return to his hometown and ditch the demons that pursue him. More than anything, he wanted to blot out the pain and anger that came when his wife of less than a month was gunned down in a CIA foul-up.
