Charlie Palmer, aka Agent Llama, is an agent with an unnamed agency.
This anthropomorphized operative is, as the codename indicates, a llama, a wooly female who walks on two legs and has arms like a human, albeit with three really chubby fingers. Palmer is billed as a "super spy" who "always gets her guy". We learn in the opening of the first recorded adventure that she has "saved the world just yesterday by zapping with a laser ray, that beastly bad guy, Bogdan Boom, a [musk ox] scientist with dreams of doom".
From this we learn that she has a arch-nemesis (Boom, in case you missed it) and he will not go down easily, escaping only to return to challenge her yet again in this mission. We also discover that she does not have much of a downtime for despite having defeated Boom the day before, she is back on the job disabling a goon (whose, we don't know) while on the ski slope; she is apparently good on her stylish black skis. Even then she cannot rest for she received an urgent message to race out on yet another case.
One thing really cool about Palmer is that when she heads out on this new assignment, she does so in what looks like a private plane with oodles of leg room (good for a llama), drinking her favorite beverage, a lemon fizz. It is here we discover some more of her nifty gadgets, in addition to the laser ray gun we saw earlier and the decidedly lesser hi-tech blowgun with its tranquilizer dart. In her attache case she has a stink bomb hidden inside a Brussel sprout, a "bag of chips with jet propeller" (that one confused me), a parachute in a small umbrella (that's neat!) and a sports car in a ping-pong ball (okay, I have no clue).
A final piece of interesting detail on Palmer is that the chronicler who relates these two tales of her activities in rhymes, rather well done.
