Full Name: Connor Heath
Nationality: Canadian
Organization: Unnamed Agency
Occupation Other - Student

Creator: John May, Suzanne Bolch
Time Span: 2010 - 2011

Connor Heath is a student.

He is not - repeat, not - a spy although he so very much would like to be. He applied to the CSIS, Canada's intelligence agency, when he was just 10 years old - spoiler alert, he was rejected. As he tells us when we first meet him, "Just so you know, I'm a massive spy buff. If something involves secret messages or concealed gadgets with little blinking red lights, I'm all over it. I've seen Bourne Identity 42 times. I wrote my English midterm in code. My life hasn't been much different than anyone else my age until recently when my parents started activing really really weird".

That weird, by the way, is because his parents are already what he wants to be - secret agents. Who they work for, CSIS or something else, I am not at liberty to say (okay, don't know!). But they have been selected, since they have a 'normal' family life in the suburbs of Toronto, to house Gisela Calicos for the time being, for her protection.

Protection from what, you ask? Well, from stuff the grown-ups won't tell her but which are bad enough to move her from the foreign country where she lived with her dad, that nation's President, and hide her until unspecified trouble is resolved. Couple of problems with that, though. Calicos is used to luxury and being pampered and getting her way like all the time. Now she is forced to live in a small bedroom in a small house in a 'where-am-I' community and obey the rules - as if! And that room just mentioned - it smells of boy's feet!

Heath is not thrilled with it all, either - though why he is so annoyed remains a bit of a mystery. A very pretty girl his own age (15 years old, if you ask) is thrown into his midst and he has to go all spy-crafty to keep her safe and stay close to her pretty much all the time and he gets numerous chances to do all the neat agent stuff he has been practicing doing and lots of scary, suspicious people are lurking all over the place and he is annoyed? Hello!! Okay, that scary people around part would bother me but the rest of it??

I think I'm supposed to like Connor Heath and if I watched enough episodes, I may very well have come to that attitude but he irked me enough to not allow him that many episodes to irk me some more.

Trying to say why he annoyed me would probably mean pointing out that he is petulant, selfish, largely lazy, and other not so pleasant traits. Or I could just point out that he is a teenage male and that would have said it all for me.

Now, Gisela is a different matter altogether. She is a teenage female. Okay, somewhat different, obviously, but still a teenager.
