Writing as: Vince Flynn

Vince Flynn was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was diagnosed with dyslexia in school but was able to overcome it enough to graduate from college with a degree in economics. He worked for a time as an account and sales marketing specialist but decided to try for a flying position with the U.S. Marines though he was eventually medically disqualified. While working again in the private sector to earn a living, he wrote his first novel and tried to get it published. He met with enough rejection slips that he decided to self-publish the book. This brought on a new agent and what is now a phenominal writing career.
