The year is 1936.
"Tensions between Imperial Japan and the US are high. When Pan Am announced a new Pacific route to New Zealand, US Naval Intelligence learns that Miyazaki plans to mount another sabotage effort. They activate Nick and send him across the Pacific to ID Miyazaki’s efforts . Nick has frustrated Miyazaki in the past and the Ninja seeks vengeance. Nick wants Miyazaki dead for murdering his mentor and a high school friend. Nick flies a clipper to Hawaii, hops a fast destroyer to Samoa, and chases Miyazaki across the mountains to exact revenge and save a village from destruction."
