A 2-pound piece of carved green jade with a red ruby set in its forehead has disappeared. The object is the Atu-Hua, said to be a South American god. It had been sold at auction and was en route its new home in Chile when the plane carrying it vanished. Biggles is asked to locate both plane and statuette.
