Oratovoa is a British island possession in the middle of the Pacific. When several people goes missing there, Biggles is asked to fly there to investigate. Since French and Swedish people were among those who disappeared, Marcel Brissac of the Surete and Sven Helderson of the Swedish police join Biggles and his friends.
