This adventure is apparently the first one to appear in book form without having first been published in a magazine.
Biggles and company are flying a recon mission over Finland when they encounter a Polish aircraft engineer who tells them that he has hidden some important tech docs to keep them out of German hands. British Intelligence wants Biggles to retrieve them knowing that the enemy is also looking for them.
