#8 in the Lawson Vampire series.
After the events in The Kensei, Lawson is still in Japan and is told to head to the city of Sendai in the northern part of the country. There he is find and eliminate an assassin known as the Silencer. As the two prepare to do battle, they are both forced to deal with a horrific storm that will force them to work together to survive.
