A German observation balloon is really a deadly trap with two dummies and a lot of explosives in it. Biggles recognizes the situation and tries to inform other squadrons but is too late as a pilot from the 287th dies as a result. Biggles goes near crazy and comes up with a particularly nasty piece of gory revenge.
