Hearing that there were people interested in the killing of King Humbert of Italy, an unspecified European sovereign hires V to learn more about the Anarchists who seem behind the threat. Interestingly, to learn who wants an Italian monarch dead, V travels from Paris to London to New York. And then manages to find the truth lies in Ethiopia.
