In Rome Drake must get back diplomatic documents stolen two day earlier. A woman asks for help and the Danger Man ends up knocked out, trussed up and in a boat floating on the Mediterranean. Being smart, Drake frees himself and venture to a villa near by. There he get the documents back, plus catches a known spy and the thief.
