Marlowe, industrial czar, statesman and prominent patron of science, Secret Agent X-9 heads to Chicago where he is again accosted by car en route the meeting. Marlowe and his associate, the scientific genius Van Zant, have created a device that stop crime. A good number of people would like to see him stopped, especially a mysterious fellow known as 'The Mask'.
