In a continuation of the previous adventure, the villain of that tale, Alfton, has escaped but have taken Myra North as a prisoner so Jack Lane and Dr. Wu give chase. Unfortunately, the escape vehicle that North is a captive on is a fully functional warship, completely remote controlled. Alfton has a short schedule to keep, though, in which to take possession of a small box and deliver it to another nation. The contents of that box has grave ramifications for that region if not the whole world.
