As a thank you for her work saving a prominent Hollywood studio, Myra North is invited to the premiere of the latest movie of child star, Dolly Darlin. Seated next to the little girl, she learns that the child is upset because, while she is an orphan, she has come to love her guardian, her talent agent she calls 'Daddy Bob'. It seems that a long unknown Aunt has turned up demanding control of the young actress and her estate. The 'aunt' is really a member of a criminal gang run by a very nasty fellow called 'The Count'. North goes undercover as an ex-con nurse hired to handle the 'little brat' actress.
