Johnny Hazard and two colleagues, Scotty and Loopy, have been behind German lines after being shot down during a bombing run. Wanting to find a life home they decide borrow a German aircraft to do it. Of course, there are a few problems like stealing the plane in the first place, limiting pursuit planes coming after them, and not getting shot down by their own forces when they show up back home in an enemy vessel.
