The Madisonian Institute in the capital has replaced an African exhibit to make room for one honoring Wonder Woman. While packing up her artifacts, Dr. Barbara Minerva is accidentally scratched by a ceremonial knife which turns her into a ferocious cat creature she calls Cheetah, and gives her powers to go after Wonder Woman in anger.
