A request by a magazine editor sends Lady Penelope, who was already in Mexico, further south to the country of Parana to investigate an ancient Aztec religious cult just being revived. Her presence is not welcome and that is shown by the attempts on her life - all to keep her from learning about the kidnapping of that country's leader.
