Fireball is enjoying a libation at a pub in Australia when he learns of a volcanic eruption on the island of Maru Atoll. A friend tells him that on the island a group of archaeologists were looking for old ruins and now they have disappeared. They are likely about to die unless Fireball can rescue them.
