Twelve-year-old Elmer Grenshaw, sole heir to the multi-million dollar Grenshaw publishing empire, is missing after failing to return from an orienteering expedition organized by the local high school. Fireball offers his services in finding the lad which is a good thing because the boy has found himself an unhappy bear.
