His trip is interrupted by a request for help from an old friend, Professor Stavros, who needs assistance. He tells of a rich American on a yacht searching the seas for a priceless small silver statue called the Athenian Athlete. Since the item really belongs to the people of Greece, Fireball is asked to investigate.
