With his country threatened by invasion from Transovania, ZX-5 goes undercover as a gypsy. A nemesis of his, Josoix, catches but loses him and the race is on as ZX-5 heads home. At the end of the story, though, the country about to invade is Regorvia. At least ZX-5 returns to his fiancee, Manya.
