A former German soldier, Gabriel Keller, is in prison for life for murder. Also in the facility is the head of a group determined to see the death of the visiting French President. To get info on the plot, Sophie Decker of Department 89 offers Keller a deal - find the plotters and help stop the act and get his freedom.
