An FBI agent wants to nail the person he blames for his failures and he has tracked him down to Franklin City, Tennessee where former CIA operative and former police detective Bill Doolin is trying to help his friends in the Bridge Club stay out of jail. The agent decides it is Doolin that he must destroy to get to his nemesis. Meanwhile, a drug dealer wants revenge on one of those Doolin is trying to help.
