Eccentric scientist Cyrus Canning is an expert in microwave research and come up with a device that will prove to be a major danger to the new rocket testing in Australia in preparation for a trip to the moon. When someone familiar with Canning's work is killed at the airport in Sydney, Elliot Carr is brought in to investigate which will land him firmly in the plot against the moon launch.
