When it is learned that a team of dedicated jihadists are plotting to assassinate the British Prime Minister, Spider Shepherd is part of the task force assigned to stop them. It becomes personal for Shepherd when he learns that one of them is a man he helped get into the UK at the end of that country's involvement in Afghanistan.
