While on vacation at a resort in the Florida Keys, Nathan Frost steps out into the hallway of his hotel to investigate a disturbance. He finds a young call girl and an angry customer having issues but it was not the type that Frost was expecting. Both were displaying early signs of trouble from a sudden disease. Afflicted with a virus called the Boomslang, they were the first victims but as Frost would find when he starts to track things, nowhere near the last.
