SPY NINJAS

Spy Ninjas is a team of freelance agents.

I mark them as freelance because I have not yet found out any organization they work for. Once I do, I will replace this paragraph but until them, just put them down as a group of friends, each a honed and capable operative, doing everything they can to go up against the evil organization known as Project Zorgo. In truth, I do not know much about Zorgo, either, but since we know they are the bad guys that the Spy Ninjas are fighting, well, they have to be nogoodniks.

The group was put together by the leader, Chad Wild Clay, with the help of his ever-competent and deadly wife and partner and fellow agent, Vy Qwaint. Based on the intel given us online at their own website (spyninjas.net), we know this about the members:

Chad Wild Clay - 6'4 - nicknames: The Weapons Expert, The Fruit Ninja - He "is the leader and co-founder of the Spy Ninjas. After learning to slice fruit with sharp objects and mastering martial arts at a young age, Chad went on to defeat Project Zorgo hackers on countless missions, with his wife, Vy Qwaint, at his side. Using his size, speed and strength, Chad is a force to be reckoned with, but he also dedicated his life to promoting kindness and creativity, with constant lighthearted humor. Get ready for some ridiculous dad jokes, but don't let those distract you from his incredible Spy Ninja skills!"

Vy Qwaint - 5'0 - nicknames: The Spice Spy Ninja, The Tiny spy Ninja - She "is the co-founder of the Spy Ninjas and the sneakiest member of the crew. Alongside her husband, Chad Wild Clay, Vy uses her stealth, speed and tiny size to outwit Project Zorgo hackers and gather crucial intelligence. Her abilities to slip in and out of tight spaces unnoticed have made her an essential part of the Spy Ninjas team. On the surface, Vy is sweet, happy and hilarious, but don't let that fool you! Her uncanny ability to fashion gadgets from household items and pick even the most high-tech locks makes her an unstoppable Spy Ninja. Hackers beware!"

Daniel Gizmo - 5'9 - nicknames: The Gross Spy Ninja, The Tech Guy - He "is a former member of Project Zorgo, who quit the organization to join forces with the Spy Ninjas. He is an expert in a wide array of subjects, from lie-detecting all the way to baseball. Daniel's real forte is anything related to gadgets and technology, hence the name "Gizmo". Using his drones, smartwatches and other high-tech tracking devices, Daniel spies on Project Zorgo hackers and uncovers vital information about their next moves. There is nowhere hackers can go to stay hidden from Daniel's state-of-the-art surveillance!"

Regina - 5'4 - nicknames: Master of Disguise, The Clumsy Spy Ninja - She "the Spy Ninjas' resident hacking expert and chicken nugget enthusiast. Formerly known as PZ4, Regina was another Project Zorgo member, who left the shadowy organization to join the Spy Ninjas. Along with her unmatched hacking skills, Regina is a master of disguise, with the ability to go undercover and blend in wherever she pleases. Her insider knowledge of Project Zorgo makes her an invaluable asset to the team, on their mission to out-hack the hackers and stop their evil plans to take over the internet!"

Melvin PZ9 - 5'8 - nicknames: The Best Fighter - He "left Project Zorgo with the goal of becoming the most popular YouTuber. He was obsessed with chasing clout and fame, but learned about honor when he befriended and joined the Spy Ninjas. Nicknamed "The Best Fighter", Melvin's advanced martial arts skills are extremely effective against oncoming hackers. He is a master at taking down his enemies, but also at making friends laugh, and gaming with Spy Ninjas and other creators. Melvin is the most wild and unpredictable Spy Ninja, which is very useful when things get extra tough!"

Oh, I have such opposing thoughts about this series, having read the comics and watched numerous webisodes. Part of me is "are you kicking?" and another big part is "oh, that is so unusual ... as in ... entertaining, I think."

There is no doubt that the actors/characters are having a blast in these 'adventures' and that is fun to watch even as the whole thing seems semi-professional at best. Then again, if it were I, well, I would do so much worse.

And then imagination that went into this stuff is very impressive. And the merchandising of the characters and their tools is genius.
