Covert Vampiric Operations is a top secret department in the CIA.
As we are told in a short Wiki entry on this group, it is an "organization of humans, vampires, zombies, and assorted other beings that defends Earth against magical forces. They use a combination of guns and magical technology known as Artillica to fight supernatural forces, though mostly they seem to find themselves up against zombies. Their base is called CVO Coffin HQ".
Additionally, another source {Monster Girls wiki] tells us that "its members [are] the best, brightest, and deadest in America. They have stopped dangers up to and including the entire planet being devoured by an extra-dimensional zombie plague".
And finally, from a promo for the group we learn "American intelligence services have a secret weapon - and it has fangs! ... the CVO - vampire operatives who spy for the United States, dealing with the most dangerous global threats."
The team members are:
Overmars - CVO director, and a vampire, who has a no-nonsense approach to everything. As he tells a higher-up in the CIA, he and his people will "do what we do best... spy, steal, and kill, kill, kill..."
Stephen Cross - vampire team leader.
Bools - a youngish looking, wise-cracking vampire field agent who enjoys pointy hair. He also has a nasty alien-technology knife that does other things besides cut.
Britt - ex-super-model vampire field agent who was also a zombie before she became a vampire.
Yumiko - a shape-shifting field agent who can morph between human and reptilian forms.
Benny - Zombie Artillica-Smith, a former human turned zombie, he is the head of research for the group.
Nikodemus - Demon consultant to the Director.
