Born into a military family, Steve Trotter's love of writing and storytelling did not have to take too back of a seat when he joined his father in the military as he served his tour and then left to follow his dreams. This involved a musical period where he and his band mates worked as opening acts for several famous groups including Steppenwolf. Mostly, though, he wrote for tabloids while he practiced until he felt novels were in him.
