PETER STEINER

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Mr. Steiner went to college in Florida and in Germany, receiving his PhD. He is best known as a cartoonist, largely for the New Yorker, for a quarter century. His most famous cartoon had the wonderful quip, "On the Internet nobody knows you're a dog."
