The Shepherd

#12 in the Lawson Vampire series.
The Shepherd is a vampire operating along the Pakistani-Afghan border helping Taliban soldiers move back and forth in exchange for young children to feed his hunger. The Council wants him put down and sends Lawson to do it but Lawson has never worked that area before and must put his faith in the help of people he has just met.
