A Scandanavian named Magnus has taken up the Viking way of life and is hijacking ships for plunder. He takes a young man, formerly a member of Modesty's gang, and convinces him she is running the show. Modesty is asked by the young man's father and wife to pull him out. Magnus does not like interference.
