Fireball has been invited to a pleasant lunch at Preece's country club when the Intelligence man receives a call that there is trouble at the Cranston Research Establishment. Fireball offers to drive him there and they discover something has wrecked havoc with the place, smashing through walls, ripping holes in metal fences, bringing down huge trees.
