ZX-5 is in Paris as a Balkan merchant when he is attacked by a pair of Apaches (European hoodlums). The gendarmes want to arrest him for disturbing the peace, he gets away with the hoodlums, they turn him into the police as a spy, he gets recognized as ZX-5, he escapes, steals a cab, and goes back to his room. After that things get interesting, including a femme fatale angry for having been betrayed by ZX-5 in Ankara.
