The murder of a biotech CEO and his wife is somehow connected to the disappearance of an FBI agent. Aaron Hardy is given the job of finding the latter while learning the who and why of the former. The matter is complicated by the fact that evidence points to a deadly assassin from Hardy's past and that woman was very, very good at being bad.
