A Soviet-era submarine is spotted off the coast of Florida. That is dangerously close to a safe house run by CIA case officer Tim Hall. When the FBI agent assigned to look into the underwater vessel is his girlfriend, Mary Ann Wilson, Hall is concerned. Then the investigation goes pear-shaped and both she and he are up to their necks in trouble.
