MARGARET TAYLER YATES

According to Al Hubin, Ms. Yates was born in California and worked for some time as a newspaper correspondent. Found elsewhere is the fact that she was born Margaret Evelyn Tayler until she married a naval officer named McLean. She accompanied him to several of his postings, including being at Pearl Harbor during the infamous attack there in 1941.
