FRANKLIN M. DAVIS, JR.

Major General Davis was a highly decorated U.S. Army officer serving around the world but largely in Vietnam. In addition to his two books about Quinn Leland, he wrote other thrillers as well as non-fiction about the military. In the last years of his military career he was Commandant of the US Army War College.
