JACK KIRBY

One of the greatest talents the world of comic books has ever known, Jack Kirby got his start in the early days of the superhero era when he and Joe Simon created for Timely Comics the iconic Captain America. He worked at one time or another virtually every comic company in existance and was at Marvel Comics, successor to Timely, when Stan Lee became the head writer and publisher. Together they came up with such works as the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and the Hulk.
